Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency
The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) was established by Prime Ministerial Decree No. 947 of 2017 and its amendments. MSMEDA is the entity responsible for developing and preparing the legislative environment for micro, small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurship in Egypt. This can be done directly or through coordinating the efforts of entities, civil society organizations and initiatives working in the field of these projects, or through partnerships it establishes or contributes to. The agency was established to replace the Social Fund for Development, which was established in 1991 and is the development product of 32 years of comprehensive, multi-faceted development experience.
