The General Authority for Cultural Palaces presents the play “What Happened at the Sabbah House” at the Shatby Cultural Palace Theater as part of the current season’s lineup, under the Ministry of Culture’s programs.

The play is adapted from the script “The Police Inspector’s Visit” by J. B. Priestley, directed by Ahmed Al-Hassafi, and unfolds in a suspenseful manner around a mysterious murder that takes place during a party at the home of “Rifaat Al-Sabah,” with events escalating in an attempt to uncover the culprit.

The cast features a number of artists, including Ahmed Hussein, Omar Mostafa, Hossam Abdel Majeed, Maysoon Mohamed, Youssef Abdel Aziz, Omar Adel, Nouran Al-Arabi, Anne Hisham, and Omar Fathy, alongside a technical team comprising a group of creative professionals in set design, lighting, and music.

The show is supervised by the Central Administration for Artistic Affairs, headed by Ahmed Al-Shafei, and produced by the General Administration of Theater, headed by Samar Al-Wazir, in collaboration with the West and Central Delta Cultural Region and the Alexandria Culture Branch.
