The international art exhibition “Contemporary Traces” will be held at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s Bayt Al-Sinnari in Sayeda Zeinab, and will continue until January 24, 2026. The exhibition is open to the public daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The exhibition is coordinated by artist Lina Osama, in collaboration with the Austrian and Romanian embassies in Cairo, and with the participation of a number of cultural partners. It features works by 21 artists from Egypt, Austria, the United States, Romania, Norway, Belgium, India, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, and Ireland.

The participating artists are Lena Osama, Mehni Yao, Faik Rasul, Tania Rashid, Shorouk Bent Fahd, Abdulsalam Salem, Alex Segerman, Avigay Mokirgi, Brett Boutros Ghali, Carmen Petraro, Cecilia Fung, Yulia Morcow, Lin Bechia, Michael Heindel, Peter Blodo, Rowley O’Brien, Skyler Smith, Sabina Delahaut, Tom Shuang, and Heroine Sins.

The exhibition celebrates ten years of cultural and artistic cooperation between the Austrian Embassy in Cairo and the International Art Initiative, following several previous editions at prominent cultural institutions and venues such as the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, the Museum of Islamic Ceramics, the Museum of Amazigh Heritage in Morocco, the Egyptian Embassy in Austria, the Joe Arts Gallery in Bucharest, and the Goethe Cultural Center in Egypt.
