The second edition of the Fayoum International Environmental Film Festival will take place from November 25 to 30, presenting more than 70 feature films and documentaries on environmental and climate issues, along with a series of seminars, panel discussions, and free screenings open to the public.

The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Fayoum Governorate, aiming to use cinema and visual storytelling techniques to highlight environmental and climate challenges, while providing a space for interaction between filmmakers and the public in the desert oases of Fayoum.

This year’s edition is held under the theme “Gender and Climate Justice,” featuring film screenings, discussion programs, and workshops addressing the impacts of climate change from a gender perspective, with the participation of experts and artists from different countries.
