The Alexandria Opera Troupe for Arabic Music and Singing is organizing a special evening of music entitled “An Evening with the Dark Nightingale,” conducted by Maestro Ahmed Amer, during which the stars of the Troupe will perform a selection of the most famous masterpieces of the artist Abdel Halim Hafez, in a celebration that brings back the atmosphere of the good old days at one of Alexandria’s most important theaters.

The concert will feature a group of distinguished voices, including Mohamed El-Khouly, Yasser Saeed, Ahmed Ragab, Mostafa Saad, Ayman Mostafa, Wael Abu Al-Fotouh, Yemeni Hassan, and Alaa Ayoub, who will perform the Nightingale’s most famous songs with musical arrangements that preserve the spirit of the originals and present them to the audience in a contemporary style.
