The General Authority for Culture Palaces is organizing a special celebration for the Day of the Great Writer Naguib Mahfouz, featuring a diverse cultural program that combines lectures and poetry evenings, in recognition of his literary contributions and his significant influence on the Arabic novel.
The events include two lectures titled “A Journey Through Naguib Mahfouz’s Literary World” and “Naguib Mahfouz: The Genius of the Arabic Novel,” as well as a poetry evening featuring Dr. Essam Al-Fouli, head of Channel 7; media personality Shawki Al-Sibai, Channel 7’s senior presenter; and poet Ibrahim Dahi, in a cultural atmosphere celebrating one of the most prominent figures in Arabic literature.
