Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is an Egyptian government agency responsible for planning and regulating all aspects of tourism and protecting the country’s ancient heritage and history. The tourism and antiquities sectors were re-integrated in December 2019. The ministry works to advance the tourism and antiquities sectors, integrate human and material resources, and optimize the use of archaeological sites and museums.
