The 15th National Tahtib Festival will kick off on Saturday, December 20, at Abu Al-Hagag Square in Luxor Governorate.
The festival will feature a selection of the game’s elders and Tahtib players from the governorates of Qena, Sohag, and Minya, alongside players from the host governorate.
The festival will also feature traditional folkloric performances by eight teams affiliated with the Palaces of Culture in Luxor, Qena, Sohag, Assiut, Mallawi, Minya, and Beni Suef, in addition to the Nile Band for Folk Music and Singing. The events will continue until December 24.
