The Toot Toot Festival: Egypt’s first festival dedicated to children’s books.
The Toot Toot Festival, Egypt’s first festival dedicated to children’s books, will kick off at the French Institute in Manira, celebrating World Arabic Language Day. The first edition of the festival, themed “Hawadit Ahlam” (Stories from dreams), highlights the importance of the Arabic language and culture in children’s literature.
The festival features a children’s book fair, as well as a variety of programs including artistic performances for children, interactive activities, and an art exhibition featuring Egyptian children’s book illustrators. The festival also offers a professional track providing workshops and discussion sessions that bring together specialists and those interested in the field of children’s literature to exchange experiences and develop skills.
Toot Toot aims to foster a love of reading in children, develop their imagination, and provide a space that combines fun and knowledge, introducing them to the latest children’s publications.
